A collaboration with Bürkle on an IKEA Industry project

The acceptance inspection for a portal saw with a stacking system took place on February 10, 2026, at the Anthon factory in Flensburg. We were delighted to welcome Bürkle and IKEA Industry, represented by Mr. Luaksz Dudek, to our facility.

The portal saw with an integrated stacking system will be installed at an IKEA Industry site in Poland, following a press line supplied by Bürkle. In collaboration with Bürkle, a state-of-the-art panel processing line for the furniture industry has been created. Lightweight panels, particleboard, and HDF panels are processed on this automated line.

The highlight of the scope of work carried out by Anthon is the portal saw. It is equipped with thirteen saw units operating from above. Each individual unit is motor-driven and width-adjustable. This allows for any cutting pattern requested by the customer. This design makes changing the saw blade a simple process. Each individual unit can be extended to the side, ensuring free access to the respective saw blade.

Following the successful completion of the acceptance test, the system is currently on its way to Poland.
