Anthon receives major order from Ziegler Group
As a subsidiary of the Ziegler Group, naturheld GmbH orders 2 complete finishing lines for processing of solid and flexible wood-fibre-insulationboards

The Ziegler Group is building a new factory for the production of solid andflexible wood-fibre-insulation-boards in Hütten near Grafenwöhr. The new site is designed for a planned annual capacity of approximately 500.000 m³ of solid and 1.500.000 m³ of flexible wood-fibre-insulation-boards.
The Ziegler Group relies on a customised solution from Anthon GmbH in the finishing end of the new facility.
“Anthon was mentioned to us in our previous market studies as the premium supplier of solid and reliable systems, especially in the area of cut to size and
handling of wood-fibre-insulation-boards. The finishing end is the interface of our products to our customers. It was therefore clear from the beginning that we would leave nothing to chance here. So after jointly developing a customised technical concept with the engineers from Flensburg, we decided for an Anthon system,” says Mr Friedl, Technical Managing Director of naturheld GmbH.
In the first quarter of 2021, Anthon received the order for two huge finishing lines for the new Ziegler Group site.
The first finishing line will process solid wood-fibre-insulation-boards. The Anthon scope of supply starts directly behind the diagonal saw of the press supplier and includes the complete handling of boards and pallets, a system for large-format infeed and outfeed, a dividing system, a destacking system for straight-edge products, the feeding and destacking of the tongue and groove
machine and a fully automatic packaging system with various functions such asprotective corner application, foiling or even application of labels. The tongue and groove machine will be supplied by Homag GmbH from Schopfloch, a cooperation partner of Anthon.
The second finishing line will process flexible wood-fibre-insulation-boards. At this line, Anthon’s scope of supply starts directly behind the press supplier’s diagonal saw as well and includes, in addition to the complete handling of boards and pallets, a cut to size line, a system for bundle formation including 2 subsequent bundling, as well as the associated stacking including a fully
automatic packaging system for the stacked bundles.
The order sets new standards and represents another milestone for Anthon in  its many years of activity in the wood-based materials industry.
The delivery, installation and commissioning of the plant is scheduled for the second and third quarters of 2022.
