As partner of the Danish company System TM we have delivered one of our most powerful calibration and fine grinding machines for the Russian sawmill JV Arkaim LLC.

 

Currently we are commissioning the sanding machine type Anthon CSD, which is part of a new production plant with 5 high-performance production lines.

 

Within the total production line, the Anthon equipment is used to sand “glulam” and solid wood panels made from larch, spruce and pine. Finished parts with a length of 800 mm - 6.300mm, a width of 300mm - 2,000 mm and a thickness of 16mm - 60mm can be calibrated and sanded on both sides in one pass.

 

The transport of the sanding machine consists of a top and a bottom feeding system. Here, a load-dependent control system ensures optimum sanding results. In combination with spindle lifting gears for height and grinding thickness adjustment and a spatial separation between grinding rollers and motors by U-joint shafts a very high precision of +/-0.1mm is achieved.

 

Due to the systematic and high quality realization and planning of this project, further sanding machines for the integration into System TM plants are in discussion.
